Near the 101 and Via de Ventura sits a 35-acre entertainment complex – Arizona Boardwalk – where families can explore animals, plants, butterflies, dinosaurs, and more. Whether families want to celebrate the Valley finally cooling down or start celebrating the holidays early, the boardwalk has plenty to explore. Check out a few of the events below!
The Boardwalk
Bubble Fest: On November 2, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., millions of bubbles will fill the air to entertain children and adults alike.
Harvest Festival: On November 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Family Fun AZ presents a festival full of fall fun, including take-home crafts, bounce houses, and games.
Movies at the Boardwalk: On November 20 from 5 to 8 p.m., join the community for a movie night, including a character meet-and-greet. This evening’s film is Despicable Me 4.
Odysea Aquarium
Honoring Veterans: On November 11 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., all Veterans can enjoy $10 off general admission.
Winter Wonderland: From November 29 to January 4, families can see the Valley’s only underwater Santa Clause during the SeaTREK Santa Scavenger Hunt, where kids can search the aquarium for multiple Santas and win prizes. For more, visit odyseaaquarium.com.
Butterfly Wonderland
Honoring Veterans: On November 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Veterans will receive $3 off all general admission tickets.
Glistening Gardens: From November 23 to January 5, guests can enter a holiday fairytale as the butterfly conservatory transforms with lights and illuminated displays. Throughout the season, the gardens will welcome appearances from butterfly fairy Leslie Campa, violinist Jonathan Levingston, and Native American flutist Aaron White.
Story Time with Critter Visit: On November 14 and 21 at 10 a.m., the Butterfly Theater will host a magical story session.

UFO Experience
Speaker Series with Brit Elders: Join author and filmmaker Brit Elders on November 14 at 6:30 p.m. to learn about the “1975 contact between Swiss farmer Billy Meier and extraterrestrial beings from the Pleiades.” The UFO expert will offer insight into his life’s work and offer a Q&A for $30 a ticket.
