The Scottsdale Gallery Association (SGA) invites art lovers to the Gold Palette ArtWalk on Thursday, November 14, from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
Kicking off SGA’s 2024-25 season, this ArtWalk will be held in Scottsdale’s Arts District along Main Street and Marshall Way and align with Canal Convergence events to create an inspiring night of art and culture.
“We are grateful for the ongoing partnership with Canal Convergence because it is the perfect marriage of art supporting art,” SGA President Jinger Richardson said. “We are thrilled to continue this partnership in support of incredible local art and look forward to welcoming our regular guests as well as those who have yet to experience a Gold Palette ArtWalk or Canal Convergence.”
Presented by Scottsdale Arts, Canal Convergence 2024 invites guests to explore artworks that challenge perceptions and reveal new insights through the theme of Reflections. Canal Convergence is an entirely outdoor immersive event transforming the Scottsdale Waterfront into an illuminated, open-air art gallery.
This year’s event features large-scale, light-based artworks, educational workshops, family-friendly activities, art and history tours, live music at the Herberger Stage, dance performances, a two-night mini film festival, a beer and wine garden, the return of the One Water Brewing Showcase beer-tasting event, food trucks, and more.
Founded in 1875, SGA is a coalition of gallery owners dedicated to showcasing and promoting fine art in Scottsdale’s vibrant art district. The weekly ArtWalk series highlights a curated selection of works across 30 galleries, while the annual Gold Palette ArtWalk features extended hours, unique themes, and additional entertainment. From seasoned collectors to casual visitors, these events make Scottsdale’s art scene accessible to everyone. This year’s participating galleries will feature special exhibitions, including:
