8123 Fest: A Weekend of Music, Nostalgia, and Community

The highly anticipated 8123 Fest, curated by Arizona’s rock band The Maine, is making its triumphant return in January 2025. For the first time, the festival will span two full days, offering fans an experience of live performances, events, and more. The event will occur at the Mesa Amphitheater on January 17-18, 2025.

The 2025 lineup features a curated mix of nostalgic bands The Maine grew up listening to, alongside artists they’ve toured with over the years and others they admire and want to share with their fan base. With an emphasis on bringing together old favorites and fresh talent, this year’s event promises to be a truly special gathering for fans of all ages. Below is the schedule of events.

8123 Fest Kickoff Party: January 16

A thrilling pre-festival event at Nile Theater, headlined by Charlotte Sands, with support from Sorry X, Like Roses, and Maeby.

Day One: January 17

The Maine will perform their American Candy album in full, celebrating its 10th anniversary, along with a farewell performance of their self-titled album. Additional sets will be performed by Bad Suns, Grayscale, Diva Bleach, Veronica Everheart, and a special surprise guest. After the show, The Maine will host an emo and pop dance night at Marquee Theatre.

Day Two: January 18

The Maine will take the stage with a career-spanning set list, accompanied by performances from The Starting Line, Real Friends, Charlotte Sands, HELLOGOODBYE, Cliff Diver, and Practically People. After the performances, another emo/pop event will take place at Nile Theater.

Sendoff Party and Impact Day: January 19 and 20

The perfect way to wrap up the festival weekend with live band karaoke, the 8123 House Band, and special guest performances at Nile Theater. In partnership with Arizona-based nonprofits, The Maine and festival-goers will take part in a volunteer project to give back to the community on January 20.

Beyond the performances, attendees can enjoy a variety of exclusive events and activities, like the 8123 pop-up shop with one-of-a-kind items and festival-specific gear, additional opportunities to socialize, connect, and enjoy music after hours and those who are traveling to the shows can take advantage of discounted hotel deals through the festival’s official partner.

What began as a way to celebrate The Maine’s 10th anniversary has become an annual tradition highlighting the band’s Arizona roots and the dedicated fan base.

“8123 Fest is the Comicon for The Maine fans. It’s a celebration of the community we’ve built and the connection amongst the fans within it,” Drummer Pat Kirch said. “This year, we’re going bigger than ever, with more music, surprises, and experiences. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the desert!”
