Whether you are throwing a birthday party, bachelorette bash, or baby shower, the first question Girl About Town always asks is, “What is your theme?” A theme is best captured by the colors you choose for your event or a specific item that you want to feature throughout.
With each new year, Pinterest predicts emerging themes and Girl About Town also has our own sense of what will resonate most with brides and expectant mothers. Content creators tend to predict the themes based on upcoming movie releases, events happening, and how they see the trends forming.
Girl About Town’s Prediction of Popular Themes for 2025:
Wild in Love: Let your wild side come out as we plaster cheetah or zebra print all over your event. A red and gold, chrome and black color scheme would be ideal for the cheetah lover; on the opposite side, a zebra print with any color to emphasize the backdrop would be perfect. Whatever color you pick, Girl About Town can turn the party into a wild time!
Snow in Love: Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all? Our Snow White-inspired picnic theme is just in time for the new Snow White movie release in March 2025. This theme is complete with a picnic apple basket, a mirror with custom vinyl lettering, and gold-framed name cards – all you have to do is find the perfect dress, and all of your princess dreams are sure to come true.
Pink Pony Club: A take on our “Last Rodeo” theme that was a huge hit two years ago, we revamped the setup and will add more pink decorations and sparkle to emphasize the 2025 version. Perfect for a birthday party and in honor of artists Chappell Roan and Dolly Parton, ladies will surely enjoy the spin on this Western vibe – just don’t forget your cowboy hats!
Once Upon a Bride: Another movie inspo-theme, but this one is perfect for the girl who grew up in love with Anne Hathaway and dreamed of becoming a princess – you know the film we’re talking about! White, blue, and cream colors will complete the look. Think Breakfast at Tiffany’s but with an upgrade – we picture groups giving out tiaras and black sunglasses as the takeaway.
Themes will change every year, and the more versatile our packages are, the easier it will be to mix and match items. Other popular theme trends include She Caught Her Mate, Veils & Fairytales, and A Diamond of the Season (Oh, Bridgerton, how we miss you!), will all be a hit this year.
