CityScape Update: New Openings

It’s so exciting to watch all-new entertainment developments grow and finally open to the public, especially when they promise to be “city-like” and house all-new local eateries. CityScape, Phoenix’s $900 million retail, residential and commercial project is set to open it’s first entertainment venue, Lucky Strike Lanes, along with a few highly-anticipated restaurants.

Lucky Strike Lanes

Downtown will no longer be a place to hit the office and then jet back home. CityScape invites downtowners to stay and play… play bowling that is. Lucky Strike Lanes, where glitz meets the bowling alley, is set to open its doors this Friday. The popular chain originated in Hollywood and is known for celebrity birthday parties, bachelorette bashes and corporate team-building events, according to The Arizona Republic. The sophisticated new lounge/bowling alley expects to bring Phoenicians for “work lunches, evening corporate events and late nights out for 25- to 45-year olds,” according to The Arizona Republic.

Retail and Restaurants

Although a gym, pharmacy and boutique have just opened for business at CityScape, the big draw will be the restaurants, which are derived from local celebrated entrepreneurs.

August

  • Five Guys Burgers: Yet another Five Guys Burgers, an Obama favorite, makes its way to CityScape. This fast-food and delicious eatery dishes out burgers, hot dogs and fries, and started in Washington D.C.
