Take your kids to the North Pole this holiday season! The North Pole Experience is the memorable Arizona vacation adventure for families spending the holidays in Arizona that is located in the quaint White Mountains ski village of Greer, Ariz. Now on its second year, the North Pole Experience will re-open Friday, November 26, offering families a memorable “behind the scenes” hands-on adventure working with Santa and his elves.
Bring a little Christmas fantasy in your life.. Last Christmas, a magical portal with direct access to Santa’s 400-year-old themed workshop at the North Pole was discovered in the charming little ski village of Greer, Ariz. During its first season last winter, thousands of delighted children and their families enjoyed building toys with elves, attending Elf University, had breakfast with Santa and made ornaments with Mrs. Claus.
New features this year to the North Pole Experience include:
- Fog curling around the massive 147-year-old workshop entrance doors
- Wall-mounted, oversized gears with sound effects to enhance the toy workshop theme
- Toy conveyor belts transporting the season’s most popular toys to be loaded in Santa’s sleigh
- A second Candy Cane Express trolley transporting families from Molly Butler Lodge to Santa’s Workshop as a result of strong ticket demand
- An enclosed, heated waiting area at the lodge for guests checking in, and for those enjoying the scrumptious dinner buffet or breakfast with Santa
The 2010 North Pole Experience runs from November 26, 2010 through January 2, 2011. Due to the recent improvements, the explosion of positive reviews online, and the increase in Arizona residents choosing to save money by vacationing closer to home, ticket sales are expected to sell out quickly.
The North Pole Experience let’s us have a Christmas Arizona adventure unlike anything else. It begins with dinner at Molly Butler Lodge, a century-old historic landmark. After dinner, families sing carols with the elves on the Candy Cane Express. Passing through a top-secret magic portal, families reach the North Pole where they will enjoy a special hands-on adventure touring Santa’s famous headquarters.
“Once the elves have unlocked the massive wooden doors to the workshop, the real ‘work’ begins! Kids activities include a visit to Santa’s Toy Hall of Fame, orientation with Alibaster Snowflake, building toys, enjoying cookies and milk with Mrs. Claus in her bakery, and attending Elf University. After they travel back through the magic portal, the adventure wraps up with kids craft activities such as making holiday ornaments then relaxing storytelling with Mrs. Claus back at Molly Butler Lodge. Parents often sit back and enjoy their children’s delight with a nightcap while relaxing around a crackling fire in the 80-square-foot fireplace. And for those staying in one of Molly’s cabins, or at the lodge, an intimate breakfast with Santa awaits.”

This is by far THE BEST experience for families. We had the pleasure of experiencing the NPX last year and can hardly wait to return this year. We’ve done the Polar Express twice and the North Pole Experience is 100,000 times better. The NPX is a truly magical experience for children. I HIGHLY recommend this to families!!
