Mane Attraction Salon’s annual fundraiser, Beauty to the Rescue, is back for its 25th year. This signature day-long celebration blends the world of beauty with a heartfelt mission to support animal welfare. On March 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the salon will be transformed into a bustling hub of activity.
Guests are invited to enjoy various services in the name of saving animals. The Mane Attraction’s team provides haircuts, styles, trims, and more at discounted rates, and every dollar raised goes directly to the Phoenix Animal Care Coalition 911 (PACC911).
“Beauty to the Rescue was inspired by Mane Attraction’s previous owners’ – Kendall and Beate Ong – love of animals, hair, and giving back. They were inspired to use their craft to give back to a community near and dear to their hearts,” Co-Owner Jenny Knudsen said.
Along with helping Phoenix Animal Care Coalition 911 continue its life-saving work for animals in need, the event features a lively atmosphere with music, refreshments, and a sense of community spirit.
“Over the years, the event has evolved into a cherished community fundraiser that supports animal welfare,” Knudsen said. “Beauty to the Rescue has grown from hair services and adoptable dogs to an event that brings together other like-minded businesses and community members with one goal of giving back.”
More than just a fundraiser, Beauty to the Rescue allows clients, friends, family, and other local businesses to come together and make a tangible difference through donations, raffles, and silent auctions. Prizes include one year of beauty at MAS, $500 cash, a Bumble and Bumble product basket, or tickets to PACC’s annual fundraiser in November.
