Season 8 of American Idol was controversial, to say the least, and will no doubt be distinguished as the season that made key artistic discoveries sure to make an impact on our ever changing music industry. Whether you voted for Kris Allen or Adam Lambert, everyone can come together for one night only to see their favorite top 10 American Idol contestants as they perform next Monday, July 20 at the Jobing.com Arena in Glendale.
Kicking off at 7 p.m., the whole gang is set to take the stage, including Adam Lambert, Allison Iraheta, Anoop Desai, Danny Gokey, Kris Allen, Lil Rounds, Matt Giraud, Megan Joy, Michael Sarver and Scott MacIntyre.
I, personally, am currently scouring the internet for tickets just so I can see Adam Lambert (whom I of course voted for several times) before he unleashes many chart-topping albums and his concerts tickets are hard to come by.
Idols Talk About Tour:
Season 8 Winner Kris Allen is looking forward to touring the country and says it’s “nice to get together with everyone” and that the contestants are all “good friends.” He also said he is most excited to perform in Little Rock, his hometown and that winning the entire season is “weird” but also a “blessing” because he leaves with a recording contract.
My favorite American Idol Contestant and runner-up Adam Lambert showed his excitement for the upcoming tour and said he was just happy to be back with his American Idol “family.” He also said he will be performing entire sets rather that just 90-second renditions. Lambert says he will be singing a few pieces that were not part of the season’s performances, along with a few from the show, including his duet with Allison Iraheta. Adam Lambert is also currently working on an album, which will feature various genres including “rock, pop, and electronic.”
Top 3 Idol contestant Allison Iraheta, who has recently signed with 19 Entertainment and Jive Records, described her first two shows as “amazing, fun, and great.” She also said she couldn’t believe how awesome the crowds were. Since she is still a minor, Iraheta shares her tour bus with her mother, Lil Rounds and Megan Joy. While traveling from city to city, Iraheta catches up on school work, tweets on her Twitter account, watches movies, listens to music and sleeps, according to AmericanIdol.com.

What a great season! This will be an awesome tour. I, for one, would not be happy to see Megan Joy though…she bugged me sooo much!
i hate american idol so much.
I have to be honest, I really never watched the show so I am not certain who everyone is, but they definitely got talent.
Adam is in a league of his own. He’s OWNS this tour at every venue and it’s well worth going just to see his set.
I saw this show in LA and it was awesome! All the singers were amazing, they played great songs and hearing them live with the arena sound systems gave their performances such a larger impact. Definitely go!!!
Hmm, Following, American Idol all these years, not quite sure, what to think about this years contestants
American Idol is now the most popular topic, I like this show, I gather every day online on American Idol’s hot news, I am so excited, ha ha ha! ! !
I loved the final 5 American idol group song last night. It was sad to see Aaron Kelly got rid of but I do believe the other singers were better so he needed to go!
I really loved the top 5 Idol group medley last night. It was a pity to see Aaron Kelly eliminated but I do believe the other singers were better singers hence he had to go!
