Arizona Biltmore’s “Hollywood & Wine” Series Gears Up

Summer is officially on the horizon! That was my first thought when I received word about the Arizona Biltmore’s “Hollywood & Wine” series!  Arizona’s staple resort is partnering for the 2nd summer with Southwest Shakespeare Company to present two classic productions at the resort – A Midsummer’s Night Dream by William Shakespeare and The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde!

The theater series is a highlight of the summer-long blockbuster festival, Hollywood & Wine, and will kick off Memorial Day and last through Labor Day weekend. The series will include celebrity bands in concert, celebrity winemakers uncorking their best, Hollywood professionals revealing their creative secrets, movie screenings and much more!

June will feature “The Art & Craft of Hollywood” – a full schedule of concerts, movie insiders revealing their creative secrets from the Hollywood sets, theater sports and classes, as well as the theater series by Southwest Shakespeare Company. The theater series will be held in two venues, Paradise Garden and the Grand Ballroom, both of which will be transformed into theaters.

Performances by Southwest Shakespeare Company will take place the first two weekends in June, on June 2, 3, 4, 5 and June 9, 10 and 11. There will be six productions of each play; show times will be either 2 p.m. MST or 8 p.m. MST.
