National Rose Day is Saturday, June 9 and what better way to rosé all day than at the first ever BLUSH Rosé Festival. Arizona’s inaugural International rosé soiree is sure to be the most talked about event of the season with unlimited tastings from over 75 rosé varieties provided by premier wine and spirits distributor and Presenting Sponsor, Young’s Market Company. The pink party will take place at adorable (and air-conditioned) Old Town Scottsdale venue, The Clayton House.
Blush bevvie loving attendees can say, “rosé s’il vous plait” at three different drinking and dining affairs throughout the day. The festivities will kick off at 11:00am with Brunch + Bubbles, featuring brunch time favorites from Scottsdale hotspot The Montauk and beats from DJ AJ Slim. The day will continue with an afternoon of leisurely eats from Farm & Craft and rosé sampling during the Tapas Experience from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Party goers can end the day on a high during Eat, Drink & Rosé, starring a plentiful spread of tastes from Chef Derek Christensen of Moonrise Standard paired with newly discovered rosé favorites from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Nighttime attendees will also enjoy Dueling Piano performances by Bridge Sound Entertainment and electric violinist trio, Urban Electra.
Of course the BLUSH bash will also feature a variety of perfectly pink photo opps (over ten to be exact) including festive floral walls, VW Bus photo booth and other rosé inspired backdrops. Fest guests are encouraged to don their most fashionable pink and white attire to ensure no Instagram shot goes unused. Guests can even stop by the Pink Boutique to shop indulgent rosé themed baubles like gummy bears, bath salts, loungewear, candles as well as other exclusive gift items and apparel.
In addition to the many tastes and sounds of the day, roaming sommeliers provided by the wine experts at Vinum 55 will be on hand during each session to educate and enhance the guests’ experience as they explore the spectrum of rosé’s unique and unexpected characteristics. The event will even have its own app for guests to keep track of their favorites and jot down tasting notes as they sample.
