Scottsdale Quarter will host several unique, family-friendly events this February to help Scottsdale spread the love.
Scottsdale Quarter’s Valentine’s Day-themed events, including Bestie Bash, Treat Yourself, and Post Your Love, will offer ways to celebrate friendship, love and positivity through creative expression and acts of kindness.
Scottsdale Quarter’s KidX Club® will hold a Hearts & Crafts Bestie Bash celebration on Friday, February 12 from 3-6 p.m. in The Quad.
As a unique way to celebrate friendship, Bestie Bash will give children and their families the opportunity to create meaningful gifts and Valentines for their loved ones and best friends with a take-home craft kit.
While picking up their kits, families can also enjoy music, character appearances, and a balloon twister. To encourage social distancing, pre-registration on Eventbrite is required.
Bestie Bash is held in partnership with KidX Club®, a program that sponsors free events to inspire children to connect with their families and explore their surrounding world.
On Saturday, February 13 from 3-6 p.m. Scottsdale Quarter will host Treat Yourself, where guests can treat themselves, a friend, or significant other.
During the event, Scottsdale Quarter guests can grab a swag bag filled with treats from Scottsdale Quarter retailers while listening to live acoustic music from local artist, Henry Thompson.
Before heading to stores to take advantage of their special ‘Treat Yourself’ discounts, guests can also get a custom, typewritten poem to gift to someone special on Valentine’s Day.
To secure a swag bag, pre-registration on Eventbrite is required.
Scottsdale Quarter will continue to spread positivity, both physically and virtually, this year. Just like in years past, the shopping center will host the interactive art display #PostYourLove, where guests are encouraged to handwrite notes of love, affirmation, encouragement, or even just a simple ‘I love you’ on sticky Post-It notes on 73rd Place between Albion Fit and Paige. Guests are also encouraged to share their notes virtually by using #PostYourLove.
Scottsdale Quarter remains focused on providing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. All Valentine’s Day events will follow the center’s COVID-19 safety protocols, including rigorous disinfectant and cleaning practices and by limiting event size, offering to-go crafts and requiring pre-registration via Eventbrite.
In addition, the Code of Conduct, posted at the Center and available online include the following guidelines:
- Practice social distancing and stay at least 6 feet (2 meters) from other people
- Covering your mouth and nose with a cloth face cover in accordance with state and local guidelines
- Do not gather in groups
- Adhere to each individual tenant’s COVID-19 policies
- Adhere to all federal, state and local regulations, recommendations and mandates regarding COVID-19
These Valentine’s Day celebrations are further examples of Scottsdale Quarter’s commitment to creating innovative, engaging experiences within the community. For more information on Post Your Love and other events at Scottsdale Quarter visit scottsdalequarter.com.
