Celebrate Halloween with your favorite comic book characters at the local comic book store.
Comic shops across the country will host the second annual Halloween ComicFest on either Oct. 26 or 27, where participating stores will dole out free books, including spooky exclusives like a special edition of Batman: The Long Halloween #1 (DC), Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children #1 (Yen Press), Adventure Time (Boom!) and My Little Pony (IDW).

- Samurai Comics (Phoenix)
- All About Books & Comics (Phoenix)
- Ash Avenue Comics & Books (Tempe)
- Pop Culture Comics (Tempe)
- Jesse James Comics & Collectibles (Glendale)
Depending on the store, participants can look forward to extra Halloween-themed fun, like “The Greatest Halloween Costume Contest Ever!” and other goodies.
