Step back in time and immerse yourself in the vibrant world of the 16th century at the 2025 Arizona Renaissance Festival, celebrating 37 years of revelry and tradition. Set against the backdrop of the Superstition Mountains, this one-of-a-kind festival promises a full-on journey into the heart of a European village, one that Queen Elizabeth herself could never have imagined.

As one of the largest Renaissance festivals in the United States, the Arizona event is a must-see for anyone looking to experience a whirlwind of entertainment, culture, and medieval fun. Mark your calendars for Saturdays and Sundays, February 1 through March 30, and prepare for non-stop revelry in a 50-acre village brimming with performances, attractions, and surprises.

Sixteen stages host a variety of live music, comedy, falconry, dance, and acrobatics acts. Over 2,000 performers in full-period costumes bring the village to life – and, of course, guests are invited to join in the fun. From interactive games and people-powered rides to shopping in over 200 artisan shops, studios, and galleries, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

For the youngsters, the village is packed with attractions like Da Vinci’s flying machine, the slider joust, and the massive piccolo pony – a rocking horse bigger than an elephant – plus the dragon climbing tower, castle siege, the maze, archery range, and more exciting activities throughout the day.

A festival highlight is the live jousting tournaments, where armored knights battle for the queen’s honor in three daily competitions in a 5,000-seat arena.

After that, indulge in gourmet fare fit for royalty at the Pleasure Feast, where guests can enjoy a five-course meal paired with Renaissance-style entertainment. The Pleasure Feast is available daily at 12 and 2:30 p.m., with reservations required.

For those who prefer a more hands-on approach to dining, a diverse range of food stalls throughout the village offers everything from steak-on-a-stake and meat pies to hearty stews served in bread bowls and, of course, the iconic smoked turkey legs. Don’t forget to treat yourself to decadent desserts, including crepes and chimney rolls!

For those 21 and over, get ready for The Hops, a fun and interactive pub crawl led by Rowland & Florian of The Renaissance Men. Explore four select village pubs on this festive journey with limited daily available spots.

The Arizona Renaissance Festival is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., rain or shine, every Saturday and Sunday from February 1 to March 30. For more, visit arizona.renfestinfo.com.
