Women from around the Valley will join together to honor and support Breast Cancer Awareness Month at the Honor Your Strength event hosted by Platform Scottsdale & Oasis Plastic Surgery on Thursday, October 17.
The evening will include a moving presentation by CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona and breast cancer survivor Laura Capello. A ticket is not required to attend the event, however all donations and raffle ticket purchases will benefit Singleton Moms, a local non-profit that provides support to single parents battling cancer. Complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
Founded in 2012 by Christine Espinoza, Julie Kern, Pearl Woodring and Dorothy Wolden, Platform Scottsdale is a non-profit organization that gives women an opportunity to connect, promote and inspire in a meaningful way that enriches their minds, bodies and souls. Oasis Plastic Surgery in Scottsdale specializes in breast reconstruction for women who have gone through breast caner.
