Get your canine clean for a cause on Saturday, April 8 at ReThinc Advertising’s annual charity dog wash. From 9am to noon Valley residents are invited to bring their dogs for a soapy scrub to benefit a special no-kill shelter for homeless pets, Desert Labrador Retriever Rescue. Desert Labrador Retriever Rescue is a non-profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to finding loving, life-long homes for displaced Labrador Retrievers. This years’ event beneficiary was chosen in loving memory of ReThinc’s own “Lando” who sadly passed away this past summer, and who always greeted visitors with enthusiastic barks and kisses.
ReThinc Advertising will host a safe environment for dogs on April 8, providing clean water, organic shampoo, treats and more for furry friends. Dog parents can enjoy complimentary bagels, coffee and pastries while volunteers wash their pups. There will also be a silent auction with a variety of great items including tickets to awesome events, autographed sports memorabilia and other exciting prizes. All washes are done on a donation basis with anyone donating $20 or more receiving a free gift. The event will be held in the parking lot behind ReThinc Advertising at 4714 N. 44th Street.
One hundred percent of the proceeds on April 8 will go to Desert Labrador Retriever Rescue, helping this amazing organization to continue their work saving dogs from being euthanized while providing medical procedures, foster services and loving homes to unwanted or displaced Labrador Retrievers.
