The Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships, presented by Talking Stick Resort, return to WestWorld of Scottsdale on Saturday, November 5 to bring fans a polo experience like never before.
Guests can expect another action-packed day of polo matches and fan-favorite traditions such as VIP party tents, luxury cars, live music and more, plus America’s Greatest Polo Party promises brand new events and experiences for this year only.
New features to the 2022 Scottsdale Polo Party include Prosecco and Popcorn by Harkins Theaters, Grimaldi’s Pizza Disco, an expanded Scottsdale Charro Lounge, and a special appearance by “Elvis” and “Hockey on Horseback” with hockey legend Shane Doan. Attendees will also enjoy an onsite boat and plane display, the return of The Riot House DayClub and much more.
This year, former Arizona Coyotes Captain and the franchise’s all-time leading scorer Shane Doan will trade in his skates and hockey stick for riding boots and a mallet and try his hand at polo as the first former National Hockey League star to play a game of polo in Scottsdale’s Polo Party history.
While guests watch the polo action, they can enjoy popcorn and Prosecco from the Harkins Theatres food truck or grab a slice of pizza and a full pie at Grimaldi’s Pizza Disco tent where a DJ, dancing, and the only on-site pizza at The Polo Party awaits.
Additionally, the long-awaited Riot House DayClub is back for the first time since 2019. The Charros Lodge also returns with an expanded tent and country music, as well as The Sanderson Lincoln Black Label Lounge with an expanded lounge area featuring live music and wine tasting inside.
Guests can also pay a visit to The Polo Party’s very first plane display by Scottsdale-based Flightworks, which will feature the 38-foot long Cirrus SR22 Turbo plane, as well as stop by a private wake boat display by Pavati, a company that builds 100% aluminum, hand-crafted and custom-designed industry-first wake surfing boats. And, The High Society Resale Boutique, which offers consignment high-end women’s clothing, jewelry, shoes and bags, will be onsite to offer amazing deals on luxury items.
Guests seeking the ultimate VIP experience can get reserved seating and tables in The Molina Fine Jewelers Drivers and Players VIP Lounge, the Barrett-Jackson Champagne and Jazz Lounge, and Prime: A Luxury Tent Experience by Steak 44, Neiman Marcus, Barrett-Jackson, and Bentley Scottsdale. In some of the VIP tents, guests now have the option of purchasing four-seat tables as well as the standard eight-top versions.
