Arizona Tennis Classic Announces 2025 Players

The excitement is building for the 2025 Arizona Tennis Classic, the state’s premier ATP Challenger Tour event. Set to take place from March 10-16, 2025, at the historic Phoenix Country Club, this annual tournament is poised to bring a stellar lineup of players, blending highly ranked professionals and rising stars.

Now in its fifth year, the Arizona Tennis Classic is a highly anticipated event in the tennis world. As the only ATP Challenger 175 event in Arizona, it offers an exciting platform for players to showcase their talents and for fans to witness world-class tennis up close. Portugal’s Nuno Borges, World No. 39, returns as the defending champion, aiming for a historic third consecutive title in Phoenix.

In addition to these seasoned pros, a standout name in the entry list is João Fonseca (World No. 68) of Brazil. At 18 years old, Fonseca recently made headlines by capturing his first ATP Tour title at the Argentina Open in Buenos Aires. His straight-set victory over home favorite Francisco Cerúndolo has cemented him as one of the sport’s most promising young talents. As the youngest Brazilian to win an ATP title in the Open Era, Fonseca’s rapid rise has made him a fan favorite to watch in Phoenix.
