Janice’s Women’s Center to Celebrate Five Years of Impact

Janice’s Women’s Center, a leading nonprofit supporting women and children escaping domestic violence, is excited to announce its five-year celebration in 2025. Since its inception, the center has become a critical resource for survivors across Arizona, providing hope, advocacy, and essential services that help rebuild lives affected by abuse.

The center’s founder and CEO, Shante Saulsberry, was inspired to create Janice’s Women’s Center following a transformative encounter on the streets of Phoenix. Saulsberry’s passion for supporting survivors led her to establish the organization, which has grown from a grassroots mission to a thriving center offering vital resources such as counseling, financial stability programs, housing assistance, and legal advocacy.

“Five years is just the beginning,” Saulsberry said. “Our vision is to expand programs, provide more housing solutions across the Valley, and continue our mission to ensure every survivor has the safety and support they need to heal. This milestone is an opportunity to reflect on our accomplishments and invite the community to create an even stronger future.”

In honor of the anniversary, Janice’s Women’s Center will host two significant events in 2025 designed to raise awareness and funds for its essential programs and housing initiatives: An October golf tournament and a gala in December, with dates to be announced.

The five-year celebration is not only a reflection of past successes but also a call to action. Domestic violence continues to impact individuals and families across communities, and Janice’s Women’s Center remains dedicated to creating meaningful, long-lasting change.

As the organization looks toward the next five years, it remains committed to expanding its reach, advocating for survivors, and continuing its work to end the cycle of violence.

Both upcoming events will aim to support the center’s growing efforts to provide life-changing resources to survivors of domestic violence. Event details, including sponsorship opportunities and ticket information, will be available soon at janiceswomenscenter.com.
