Cinco de Mayo is right around the corner, and Phoenix is ready to bring the flavor with dinners, tacos, tequila, and music. Here are just a few events and specials happening around the Valley the weekend of May 5.
Arizona Biltmore
Renata’s Hearth presents the fourth edition of its Fire & Ice Cocktail Dinner Series. This five-course experience features dishes paired with custom Don Fulano tequila cocktails. Highlights include scallop ceviche paired with a spicy mango hibiscus cocktail and a coconut tres leches dessert, served alongside “Maiz de Mayo.”
The Wigwam
Head to The Wigwam’s bar patio from 5-7 p.m. on May 5 for a laid-back celebration featuring tequila tastings, street tacos, elote, live mariachi music, and a visit from the popular Cave Creek beer burro.
Sheraton Phoenix Downtown
On Saturday, May 3, Carcara hosts a festive night from 6-10 p.m. with ancho chile beef tacos, Código 1530 tequila tastings, and their signature cocktail “The Phoenix.” A live DJ keeps the party going from 8-10 p.m.
Someburros

Salt + Lime Modern Mexican Grill
Salt + Lime is serving up street tacos, house margaritas (for $7!), and guac in a family-friendly atmosphere perfect for Cinco de Mayo. The restaurant will continue its Chips for Charity program, offering unlimited chips and salsa for $5, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting a local Arizona charity.
El Camino
From May 2nd through May 5th, guests can enjoy festive drink specials including $12 Gran Malo Mexican Candy Shots and $16 Casamigos Spicy Margaritas. El Camino will also be offering $2 tacos all day on May 5 only. Spice up your Cinco with delicious food, bold drinks, and lively atmosphere.
Elvira’s DC Ranch
Celebrate May 5 with a gourmet twist. Chef Christopher offers a one-day-only, four-course menu including Yucatán scallop crudo, truffle quesadillas, and cacao tamal, paired with agave flights and craft margaritas.
JoJo’s ShakeBAR
JoJo’s is getting festive with 50 percent off tequila cocktails, boozy tequila bars, and their Insta-worthy Patron margarita trees on May 5. Come for the drinks, stay for the vibes.
Recreo Cantina

Diego Pops
Diego Pops is turning up the heat with a three-day Cinco de Mayo fiesta. From carnival games to cold margaritas and a mechanical taco, it’s a party packed with flavor and fun. Menu highlights include signature Brussels sprout nachos, street corn queso, taco trios, pineapple-braised pork tacos, and a $20 taco special: get five tacos with your choice of steak or chicken, topped with pico de gallo, lettuce, and cheese.
Cantina Gueros
Cantina Gueros will offer $5 specials from May 1 to May 5. Guests can enjoy Mexican beers, house margaritas, and fan-favorite Tacos Borrachos, as well as charred pineapple salsa. The Hot Chick
Get ready to party at The Hot Chick this Cinco de Mayo weekend, May 2 through May 5! Sip on $14 Reposado Margaritas made with Don Julio, El Bandido, Celaya, or Código, and grab a $30 bucket of Corona or Estrella to keep the good times flowing.
Royale Kitchen + Cocktails
On May 3, Royale will be a featured stop on the Melrose Cinco de Mayo Bar Crawl, starting at noon. Tickets are $20 and include a shot at each stop. On Sunday, May 4, Royale hosts a lively Cinco de Mayo Drag Brunch featuring Barbra Seville and special guests Adriana Galliano and A.B. Valdez. Guests can also enjoy Royale’s regular brunch service on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a Chilaquiles brunch special.
Royal Palms Resort and Spa
This May, Royal Palms is offering a range of experiences. On May 5 and 6, T. Cook’s will celebrate Cinco De Mayo with $3 chef-crafted tacos and specialty margaritas. Beginning May 16, guests can participate in weekly ceviche-making classes every Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., guided by T. Cook’s culinary team, for $55 per person. Additionally, Taco Tuesdays at Mix Up Bar will feature a rotating selection of bold, chef-created tacos for $3 each, paired with signature drinks and a lively atmosphere.
810 Entertainment
From May 2 to 5, 810 Entertainment in downtown Phoenix is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with all-day margarita deals and a bowling special. Guests can enjoy house margaritas for $5, top-shelf for $6, and Cadillac margaritas for $8. A $25 bowling package includes one hour of lane time for up to eight players, with shoe rental extra and online reservations required.
The Phoenician Tavern
At The Phoenician Tavern, the celebration runs May 2-5, featuring limited-time cocktails like the Smokey Passionfruit Margarita and the El Diablo, as well as taco specials including carne asada or chipotle shrimp trios.
