Tavern Park, a 13,000-square-foot sports bar and entertainment venue, is set to open in Peoria’s P83 in early 2025. The new addition raises the bar for P83, which has become Peoria’s most dynamic dining and entertainment destination. Brought to life by the team behind Lookout Tavern in Phoenix, this new concept blends sophistication with dynamic entertainment in the space formerly occupied by Modern Round.
Tavern Park’s first floor will be dedicated to an upscale sports bar that flaunts an impressive 125-foot HD LED wall. Whether it’s football, basketball, or a championship fight, fans will enjoy an immersive, state-of-the-art experience that brings the excitement of the game directly to them. The second floor will hold the Perch Audio Lounge, which boasts a rooftop deck and nightlife vibe.
“We wanted to create an immersive destination where sports fans, casual diners and nightlife enthusiasts alike can come together,” Kevin Stout, owner and visionary behind Tavern Park, said. “Whether you’re catching the big game on our massive LED wall, enjoying the fresh air in our indoor park, or experiencing the high-energy atmosphere of our nightlife at Perch Audio Lounge, we’re offering something for everyone, all in one extraordinary space.”
Stout has navigated multiple business sectors as a seasoned entrepreneur, including marketing, e-commerce, web services, and travel. In 2017, he entered the competitive Phoenix restaurant and nightlife industry with Lookout Tavern, a concept blending upscale dining with a vibrant social atmosphere. Kevin and his team launched Lookout Tavern from scratch, completing a full-scale remodel, opening within eight months, and earning 11 “Best of Phoenix” nominations.
For those seeking a high-energy nightlife experience, the nightclub transforms the main bar space on the weekends. It will showcase high-end lighting equipment and state-of-the-art Void Acoustics, delivering a world-class audio-visual experience unlike anything currently found in Arizona.
With internationally recognized DJs and entertainment, guests can expect an unparalleled atmosphere. Lined with lush décor and patio games, the indoor park will offer a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. Climate-controlled for comfort, the park’s walls can open up to bring in that perfect Arizona breeze. The rooftop deck will offer views of the West Valley and provide a high-energy space with two stairwells and a hidden entrance to the VIP section.
“We wanted to build a space where music and ambiance take center stage,” Stout said. “Perch offers a combination of high-end sound, unmatched views, and a rooftop atmosphere that we believe will be unlike anything else in the Valley.”
Traditional, private dining areas and the pet-friendly, double-decker patio may be perfect for casual dining. The menu will boast numerous culinary specialties with twists on comfort classics, steaks and seafood. The drink menu will also be a marvel with molecular craft cocktails, signature drinks, a curated wine list and local craft beers. Tavern Park will be located at 8320 W. Mariners Way.
