Pedal Haus Brewery is gearing up for its inaugural Rabbit Ride, a fun, whimsical, rabbit-themed bike ride on Saturday, March 29. The event will kick off at Pedal Haus‘ Tempe location and promises to be an exciting day for cyclists and costume enthusiasts.
Participants are encouraged to dress up in their most creative rabbit-inspired costumes and join in the fun as they bike through the heart of Tempe. The route will wind through scenic local spots and end up back at Pedal Haus for an after-party with live music, drink specials, and a costume contest.
Pedal Haus Brewery, a staple since its opening in 2015, has been making waves with its innovative beers and community-focused events. Over the years, the brewery has earned over 50 medals and awards, including multiple gold medals at the 2023 Arizona Craft Beer Awards and Brewery of the Year. The brewery’s Day Drinker Light Lager also won a silver medal at the 2024 World Beer Cup.
The Rabbit Ride will begin with check-in at Pedal Haus Tempe at 11:30 a.m. Riders will pass by local favorites like The Shop Beer Co. and Hundred-Mile Brewing Co., both of which will have live music and beer specials to add to the celebratory atmosphere. The after-party takes place from 3 to 5 p.m.
Prizes will be up for grabs throughout the event, including cash and gift cards for participants with the most creative costumes, most unique bike designs, and the best group costume.
“We all miss the Tour de Fat ride that used to take place in Downtown Tempe. While our ride is smaller, we hope it brings some of that fun energy,” Founder Julian Wright said. “We’re excited to introduce this unique ride to the community, and working with local partners like The Shop and Hundred-Mile Brewing Company, we hope to create a memorable day of cycling and celebration.”
