New Year’s Eve celebrations in Arizona offer a wide range of events for all kinds of revelers, but one of our favorite things to do on December 31 is ring in the new year with a good meal. Below are a few spots offering NYE dining – with a few activities thrown in, too!
Indulge in a curated four-course menu for $125 per person, featuring luxurious flavors and seasonal delights. Highlights include a caviar cart with Royal Osetra, chips, blinis, and fixings like crème fraîche, egg yolk, and lemon zest, with a vegan option. Starters include creamy potato leek soup or frisée salad lardon. Mains are beef tenderloin, lobster pot pie or pan-seared duck breast. For dessert, enjoy a show-stopping baked Alaska, with a gluten-free option available.
Ring in 2025 in 007 style. Guests are encouraged to dress as their favorite secret agent, Bond Girl or Bond villain to sip themed cocktails, try your luck at the casino tables, dine on cultured cuisine and experience a show. There will be a red carpet VIP entrance, passed hors d’oeuvres, a commemorative photo and a concert of James Bond music performed by Stars of ABT past and present. Celebrate the new year at Postino with an upgraded Board and Bottle night. Enjoy a board of bruschetta paired with a bottle of premium bubbles (Millesimato Pas Dosé Brut) for just $50. Join the James Beard award-winning team at Uchi Scottsdale to celebrate the new year with a one-night-only specialty holiday omakase. Priced at $400 for two, with an $80 beverage pairing, this dinner features a variety of creative dishes, including amuse bouche, oysters with champagne foam, lobster maki, fish cake gnocchi, and more. End the evening with a sweet honey castella cake and seasonal berries.
Ring in the new year with a dinner at Roaring Fork. Starting at 4 p.m. on December 31, enjoy a special steak and lobster entrée served with mashed potatoes and a choice of a Caesar salad or iceberg BLT salad. Celebrate New Year’s Eve with North Italia’s three-course prix fixe dinner. This special menu features highlights from fall and winter offerings along with new dishes. Guests can choose from a starter, main entrée, and dessert, with options like burrata di stagione, lump crab and lobster bruschetta, house bolognese, braised short rib marsala, and lobster fra diavolo. Dessert options include the new holiday panettone butter cake and the beloved dark chocolate budino.
Chandler’s Ultimate New Year’s Eve Block Party
Hosted by Sea & Smoke and The Living Room at Ocotillo, this Vegas Night celebration will offer casino games, live entertainment, hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and a midnight champagne toast. Guests have the chance to win raffle prizes such as a $200 gift card or a wine and charcuterie basket. The DJ will keep the energy high, while Chef Christopher George offers a specialty menu. Signature cocktails like the “VIP Vices” and “High Roller Reserve” will complement the offerings. Tickets are $100 per person.
Pedal Haus Brewery is hosting its second annual NYE Disco Bash on the rooftop in Downtown Phoenix. It features champagne, disco classics, dazzling decor, a midnight disco ball drop, and boogie-worthy surprises to welcome 2025. General admission is $12. For a VIP experience, reserve a table: $144 for four, $216 for six, or $288 for eight. VIP tables include seating, festive party favors, sparkling wine, charcuterie platters, and gratuity.
Start the evening with the spicy yellowtail sushi tacos and follow those up with the 10 oz. prime rib served with au jus and horseradish cream whipped potatoes. Elevate the meal with grilled garlic shrimp skewers for $6, or savor the parmesan-crusted sole with green asparagus, bay scallops, mussels, and shrimp with a caper lemon sauce. End 2024 on a sweet note with a warm chocolate molten lava cake drizzled in chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream.
Bar Bambino at Élephante Scottsdale is hosting a Martinis & Masquerade NYE party from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., offering two ticket options: $75 general admission with entry, a complimentary glass of bubbles and entertainment, or table reservations for up to 10 guests with food and beverage minimums and a bottle of bubbles included. The event features an array of entertainment, including disco ball head dancers, a martini ice luge, a cocktail shooter station, solid wiggles jello shots, a DJ, and a violin performance by Grant (KOZLOW), with masks provided for all attendees.
The Italian Daughter will offer dinner, dancing to live music by local musicians, two toasts to commemorate the New Year (an East and West Coast toast), and complimentary prosecco and panettone for New Year’s Eve.
Twin Peaks offers $5 or $6 glasses of champagne until 10 p.m. In addition, guests who come in and enjoy these drinks can enjoy Twin Peak’s from-scratch kitchen and watch their favorite game and a New Year’s countdown on one of the restaurant’s 100 TVs.
Indulge in a luxurious five-course Italian dinner for $169 per person, featuring gourmet dishes like truffle filet rossini, saffron prawn risotto, and panettone with zabaglione cream.
Marino’s Italian Kitchen & Bar
Marino’s Italian Kitchen & Bar will offer a special New Year’s Eve four-course prix fixe tasting menu for $95 per person, including a complimentary prosecco glass. Guests who purchase a prix fixe menu between 8-11 p.m. will be entered into a raffle for a personal tasting menu experience curated by Marino’s executive chef and head mixologist. Marino’s kid’s menu will be available for the evening, and all kid’s purchases will include a complimentary glass of Martinelli’s Cider. A special New Year’s Eve a la carte menu will be available at the bar.
Ling & Louie’s & Ling’s Wok Shop
On January 1, Ling & Louie’s invites guests to start the year with brunch featuring a variety of flavorful dishes. Throughout January and February, Ling & Louie’s will also host a Big-Hearted Brunch to benefit Make-A-Wish Arizona, with a portion of proceeds donated to help grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Ling’s Wok Shop will offer a “Cooking for a Cause” menu, where a portion of proceeds from select dishes will also go to Make-A-Wish.
Led by celebrity chef Beau MacMillan, The Americano is offering an exclusive New Year’s Eve prix-fixe dinner. Curated by Chef MacMillan and Chef Peter McQuaid, the menu features festive cocktails and luxurious dishes like char-grilled octopus, lamb ossobucco, Atlantic cod, and braised wagyu beef cheeks. The dinner is available from 4-10 p.m. on December 31, with prices ranging from $150 to $195 depending on main course choices and add-ons.
“Flappers, Fizz & Friends” is a New Year’s Eve celebration on December 31. Inspired by the Roaring Twenties, the event offers three luxurious experiences: The Green Light ($350/person) with exclusive bar seating, a five-hour premium bar, a Taittinger bottle greeting, and festive treats; West Friends Lounge ($450/person) with banquet seating, a Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque greeting, and a Ruinart Blanc de Blancs midnight toast; and East Friends Elite ($550/person) with plush center-stage seating, a Louis Roederer Cristal greeting, and a Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle midnight toast.
Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Maple & Ash with their Midnight Masquerade event, featuring a luxurious $200 prix fixe menu. Guests can enjoy a welcome glass of Marqués de Cáceres cava, followed by canapés, Kaluga caviar sandwiches and foie gras gougères, and a first-course selection of wagyu beef carpaccio or wood-fired Spanish octopus. Choose from filet mignon, Chicago ribeye, New York strip, Atlantic halibut, New Zealand king salmon, or ricotta agnolotti for the main course. For an elevated experience, opt for the $300 IDGAF chef’s tasting menu. The evening will feature a DJ, a balloon photo moment, and an ice luge.
This eatery offers a two-part New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner. The first seating, from 5-7 p.m., offers a three-course meal for $55, while the second seating, from 7:30 p.m.-12 a.m. – priced at $65 – includes live music, a champagne toast, and an amuse-bouche. Both options showcase authentic Indian flavors like hyderabadi mutton nihari, goan shrimp curry, and gulab jamun cheesecake, making for a festive and cultural celebration.
Chef Joey Maggiore invites guests to celebrate the new year with an Italian dining experience. Enjoy a curated selection of appetizers, seafood towers, pasta, soups, and salads. The Italian Seafood Tower, featuring jumbo shrimp, mussels, and octopus, stands out alongside the Champagne & Shellfish Cart.
Cala Scottsdale
Cala invites guests to experience a Mykonos-inspired celebration featuring photo opportunities, an all-white dress code, and a complimentary midnight champagne toast. The event offers two dinner seating times: the first seating, from 5:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., requires a $125 deposit per person and includes a welcome champagne drink; the second seating, from 8:45 p.m. to 9:15 p.m., requires a $175 deposit per person and includes a midnight countdown and toast. For those seeking a more casual experience, standing general admission tickets are available, which grant access after 10:30 p.m., a dessert, and champagne for the midnight toast, with ticket prices ranging from $40 to $65.
From 4:30 to 10 p.m., enjoy dishes like seared chutoro tataki with Asian pear slaw, a decadent A5 Wagyu hot stone, and Faroese salmon with Moroccan spiced crust. Sandfish’s menu also features indulgent dishes like Uni and caviar nigiri and king crab ramen.
The Montauk celebrates New Year’s Eve with a New York-style twist, hosting a Times Square Ball Drop at 10 p.m. Guests can enjoy live entertainment and festive cocktails, including a unique espresso martini tree for larger groups. The celebration continues with a brunch the following morning, offering favorites like Weekender Sandwich, Huevos Rancheros, and brunch cocktails.
The Hot Chick’s Groovy & Gold New Year’s Eve party will feature Austin Power’s impersonator Richard Halpern, beats by DJ Fashen, a midnight countdown special, and photo ops with Goldmember himself. Make sure to dress in your grooviest attire!
Aftermath offers a three-course specialty menu designed by Culinary Director Austin Finley. Start with artisan lettuce and fennel, followed by choices like seared halibut or Arizona filet, and finish with a zesty key lime bar.
KID-FRIENDLY AND FUN ACTIVITIES
The Downtown Mesa Association is excited to host the inaugural Noon Year’s Eve celebration, a free, family-friendly event to ring in 2025 at 12 p.m. Join the fun on December 31, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Main and Macdonald for crafts, games, live music, and food trucks. At noon, Mayor Giles will lead a countdown to welcome the New Year, followed by a sparkling apple cider toast.
The Tianyu Lights Festival is a nighttime walk-through experience that combines nature and art. Open to all ages, the festival boasts more than 40 sets of lantern sculptures crafted by artisans using metal, steel, fabric and LED lights. The walk-through experience has four themed sections. There’s also a marketplace and a food court. Tickets are $25 for adults, $18 for kids.
The Happy Noon Year Celebration offers two times to celebrate: 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. Attendees will be served sparkling cider, move and groove on the dance floor, create a colorful noisemaker, and countdown to the festive balloon drop. Prices are $27 for nonmembers and $10 for members.
Dave & Buster’s at Tempe Market Place
Families can start the fun early at 4 p.m. with unlimited video game play, a $20 Power Card, and a banquet featuring mini pretzel dogs, churros, and more. Raise a glass with a ginger ale toast and enjoy the video ball drop. For adults, the party continues all night with a $25 Power Card, unlimited video game play, NYE swag, a midnight champagne toast, and a spread featuring smashburger sliders and churros.
The 14th annual New Year’s Eve Whiskey Row Boot Drop event starts at 7:30 p.m. with food, drinks, live music, decorations and more. At 10 p.m. and midnight, the city will lower an illuminated boot from the palace building’s flagpole, which is 40 feet high in the air. Fireworks will follow both events. The event is free to the community.
For the past 23 years, the Weatherford has been dropping the giant pinecone from the third floor of their hotel. There are a few options for celebrating, starting with a kid-friendly visit to Charly’s, which will host a meal and sparkling cider for those who want to celebrate early. Flagstaff encourages families to gather and watch as the pinecone drops at noon, 10 p.m., and midnight. The Downtown Business Alliance even offers a “Noon Year’s Eve” celebration. For grown-ups, the Zane Grey Ballroom, Bar, and Balcony will offer a VIP celebration with drinks, snacks, dancing and more.
