Cool Down With Sunset Yoga & Reverse Happy Hour at Uptown Plaza

What is better than a cold beer after a workout on a hot day in Arizona? If this sounds like a good time to you, check out Sweatshop on Central’s upcoming sunset outdoor yoga class at Uptown Phoenix.

Founded by mother and daughter Ashley Zettler and Mary Williams, Sweatshop is a locally owned fitness studio that offers yoga, barre and spin classes. On Thursday, Sept. 14 and Oct. 5, Sweatshop on Central will host complimentary sunset yoga classes at Uptown Plaza.

Starting at 6:30 p.m. on both days, this free class will accept donations to support the Arizona Humane Society (AHS). AHS is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) animal shelter that works to save pets who have been abandoned or given up. Their ethical, no-kill philosophy ensures that the shelter will “never euthanize a pet for space or length of time.”

Guests who participate in the yoga session are invited to relax after class with a reverse happy hour special next door at Huss Brewing Co. until 9 p.m. Huss Brewing Co. is a local, independent craft brewery. Show your yoga confirmation email to enjoy happy hour specials, including $4 pints, $7 pitchers, $1 off wine and $4 food items, like small rustic pretzels, chips and salsa, and hummus and veggies. Huss is famous for its Papago Orange Blossom Ale and Arizona Light Lager. Along with their other beers, these will be on happy hour. They also offer four, six and 12 packs of beer to go.
