Justin Thomas Wins Ford Drive One for Arizona Charities Contest

Professional golfers teed up for a great cause at the annual Ford Drive One for Arizona Charities event at the iconic 16th hole at TPC Scottsdale. This year, Justin Thomas claimed his second title at the event, culminating in a $10,000 donation to a charity of his choice.

The competition challenged players to land their tee shots closest to the pin. Thomas won with an impressive cumulative distance of 15 feet 3 inches across both days; on Thursday, 12 feet and on Friday, 3 feet 3 inches. The win resulted in a $10,000 donation to Make-A-Wish Arizona.

“I’m honored to win this contest and to be able to support Make-A-Wish Arizona,” Thomas said. “The work they do in granting life-changing wishes for children facing critical illnesses is truly incredible. A big thank you to the Arizona Ford Dealers for making this possible.”

“We are incredibly grateful to Justin Thomas and the Arizona Ford Dealers for their generosity and support,” Make-A-Wish Arizona CEO Fran Mallace said. “This donation will help us grant even more wishes for children and bringing them hope and joy during challenging times.”

Blending the excitement of golf with the impact of philanthropy, Arizona Ford remains committed to giving back to the community by supporting organizations that make a meaningful difference.

“The 16th hole at TPC is already one of the most electrifying moments in golf, and the Ford Drive One for Arizona Charities challenge adds an extra layer of excitement,” Ford Dealers Board Director Tim Hovik said. “We are proud to help make a positive impact in the community and support causes like Make-A-Wish Arizona.”
