Former President & CEO Jason Barlow added excitement by auctioning off his iconic “Blueprints” blazer, which fetched an impressive $6,000, showcasing the generous spirit of the evening. Additionally, the raffle exceeded its fundraising goal, reaching a remarkable total of $11,335, underscoring the community’s dedication to supporting affordable housing initiatives.

A profound moment occurred during the event when Habitat featured a video testimony from a Veteran. Attendees listened as he shared how he survived Arizona’s sweltering summers by sleeping outside in the wet grass due to a broken air conditioner until Habitat stepped in to make critical repairs, including installing a new AC unit and insulated windows. His heartfelt story was a powerful reminder of the importance of the work being done, leaving many visibly moved.

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of those in attendance, the event raised nearly $700,000 – an achievement that will directly support vital programs such as Aging in Place and Neighborhood Revitalization.

“Blueprints & Blue Jeans was a fantastic, top-notch, signature event that truly exceeded my expectations in every way,” President & CEO Todd Rogers shared. “From start to finish, the evening was filled with energy, generosity, and a shared commitment to building a better future.”

As the evening concluded, Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona extended heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, volunteered, bid on auction items, and supported the cause. This sense of community was a powerful reminder of the collective impact made throughout the night.
