Revel Surf, one of only three publicly open surf parks in the United States, has officially opened its doors, bringing a taste of the coastal lifestyle to the desert. Located at 4503 S. Power Road, this exciting new destination is ready to deliver all the thrills of the beach without a trip to the coast. Whether you’re a first-timer, a seasoned rider, or simply looking to enjoy a day by the sand, Revel Surf offers something for everyone.
“Revel is a place where the small envision big, the broke feel rich, and immutable memories are forged daily,” Founder Cole Cannon said. “It truly is the intersection of lifestyle and adrenaline.”
Revel is more than a surf park. Guests can warm up at the skate park, suit up for the waves, or launch off the diving platforms. If you’re looking to relax and take in the action, you can do so from the sand while enjoying tasty drinks and eats.
In addition, Revel offers a full range of amenities to ensure guests have everything they need for a fun day. Wetsuits, surfboards, and gear are available for rent, and the retail store has you covered for all your surfing essentials.
At the heart of the park is the Revel Surf Lagoon, powered by Swell Mfg Wave Technology, an innovation designed and created in Arizona. This state-of-the-art artificial wave pool brings ocean surfing to the desert with consistent, customizable swells for all skill levels. From barrels to smooth waves, the lagoon offers a wide variety of surfing experiences, including beginner-friendly lessons through the “Learn to Surf” programs.
In addition to the Lagoon, Revel Surf also features the Unit Wave, a standing wave experience perfect for all skill levels. Whether you’re a novice or an expert, the Unit Wave offers adjustable settings that allow surfers to control the size and intensity of the waves based on preferences.
The park also features a 16-foot-deep diving lagoon, complete with multiple diving platforms ranging from six to 26 feet. Whether you’re diving for thrills or just lounging on the wet deck, the lagoon offers a great way to cool off and have fun.
For those looking to simply relax and soak in the sun, Revel Surf imported white sand from Florida’s Panhandle to create a laid-back, coastal atmosphere.
No beach day is complete without great food, and Revel delivers with the Beach Grill. The menu features a variety of options, from crispy garlic shrimp and loaded sweet potato fries to fresh salads and flatbreads. Of course, no surf park is complete without fish tacos. For dessert, guests can indulge in a cookie sundae featuring signature cookies from local baker Amber Marie, with seasonal specials to make each visit unique.
Revel Surf is accessible to the public by purchasing a day pass or booking a surf session through the website. Memberships are also available. For more information, visit revelsurf.com.
