Jamie’s Bottle Shop to Debut in Old Town Scottsdale

Get ready, wine enthusiasts! Jamie’s Bottle Shop, a new gathering spot, is set to open its doors in Old Town Scottsdale on March 28. Founded by Jamie Hormel, owner of the legendary Wrigley Mansion, Jamie’s Bottle Shop is dedicated to offering a space where wine explorers of all kinds can learn, discover, and enjoy.

With over 700 varietals in stock, the shop offers a selection ranging from affordable everyday bottles to rare, high-end finds priced from $15 to $15,000.

“I wanted Jamie’s Bottle Shop to be a place where anyone, whether a wine expert or a newcomer, could feel comfortable and excited about discovering something new,” Hormel said. “This shop is all about education, conversation, and finding wines that bring joy – without the pretension.”

Designed by Scottsdale’s Mendil + Meyer Design Studio, the 2,300-square-foot shop features a sleek yet welcoming ambiance, blending natural wood, gold and green accents, and climate-controlled lighting. It will offer floor-to-ceiling shelves stocked with red, white, and rosé wines worldwide.

The shop will also feature a signature Champagne Room, where guests can attend weekly tastings and educational classes. The Reserve Room will house Jamie’s rare, collectible, and older wines in a temperature- and humidity-controlled environment.

Whether you’re shopping for your next bottle or enjoying a glass on-site, Jamie’s Bottle Shop offers expert guidance from a knowledgeable staff. Guests can take home their wine or enjoy it at one of the shop’s tasting tables, accompanied by a menu of freshly prepared bites. Offerings include a pressed ham and cheese sandwich on artisan bread, seasonal market salads, and charcuterie boards featuring sliced-to-order meats, cheeses, jams, and pickled vegetables.

“Jamie’s Bottle Shop is a welcoming space that combines fine wine with approachable, friendly expertise,” Wine Director and Sommelier Zephan Lachowicz said. “Our goal is to make every guest feel at home while sharing our love and knowledge of wine, whether through a glass or one of our classes.”

Jamie’s Bottle Shop will be open Tuesday through Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Learn more by visiting jamiesbottleshop.com.
