Next on Scottsdale Quarter’s lineup of store openings: Nike! The two-story, 20,000-sq.-ft. store opened today at the new booming plaza.
The 28-acre Quarter has opened nearly a dozen shops and restaurants over the past 19 months, and 27 more are set to open in the future, according to The Arizona Republic.
Restaurants to make their way to SQ include an additional location for Sam Fox’s True Food Kitchen (opening Nov. 15), Eddie V’s Prime Seafood, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria and TK’s Urban Tavern, which Glimcher said is similar to a Houston’s.
Scottsdale Quarter will open in three phases over the next several years. It opened its doors to the public in March 2009 with the debut of west elm and Williams-Sonoma Home.
This December, north Scottsdale residents can get excited for a brand new movie theater with 750 seats. Best part: adults can enjoy a glass of wine after 7 p.m. as they watch their flick. Tickets will be 40 to 50 percent higher than standard theater prices, according to The Arizona Republic.
Other stores to open include Press Coffee Roasters and a mini barbershop.
