Escapology, the popular national escape room venue with 73 locations all over the world, is opening its second Arizona location with an initial five live interactive experiences for groups to enjoy. The venue will open on Friday, October 20 at Tempe Marketplace and will be the third Escapology location that franchise owners and siblings Anna and Cody Stovall have opened.
“We’re thrilled to open our second Arizona location at such a fun place like Tempe Marketplace,” says Anna Stovall. “Bringing these exciting escape room adventures to the Valley and giving the community a fun way to spend time with friends and family is our passion. We can’t wait to welcome our East Valley friends to this new space.”
Located at 2000 E. Rio Salado Pkwy in Suite 1029, the 4,500-square-foot venue will open with five themed-escape rooms before adding an additional three in November for a total of eight exclusive interactive experiences that can be played in private groups of up to eight people. During each 60-minute adventure, participants will work together to solve puzzles, open locks and discover secret rooms while trying to successfully complete tasks such as safely retrieving the stolen Mona Lisa, escaping a drug cartel operation, solving a murder case and more.
The five initial escape rooms, which include “Who Stole Mona?,” “Narco,” “Mansion Murder,” “Seven Deadly Sins,” and “Lost City,” give participants a range of exciting adventures to choose from as they take on important missions and demonstrate mystery-solving skills. In November, three new games will be installed, including “Batman,” “The Pirates Curse” and “Antidote 2.0.”
The Tempe location will also offer experiences for young detectives with a new KIDS MODE feature that allows children to immerse themselves in engaging narrative, using problem solving and critical thinking to crack the mysteries.
Beginning October 30, the new venue at Tempe Marketplace will be open Monday through Thursday from noon to 10 p.m., Fridays from noon to 11 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
To celebrate the grand opening, the new location is giving away one free game ($180 value) of the exclusive escape room, “Who Stole Mona?,” for up to four players. Participants interested can enter by following the instructions in this link. The giveaway will end on Oct. 20.
