I don’t know about you, but I can’t seem to figure out the opposite sex and sometimes wish they came with an instruction manual. Well, someone out there, and not just anywhere, Scottsdale-based communications coach and relationship expert Mike Lindstrom has teamed up with renowned keynote speaker and dating coach Dan Lier to create “Dan & Mike’s Guide to Men” – the ultimate guide to relationships. Thank God!
Plus, on Saturday, August 28 starting at 8 p.m. at the swanky Jackrabbit Lounge, the secret-keeping authors celebrate the launch of their first book with a riveting relationship panel, intimate book signing and exciting party!
In “Dan & Mike’s Guide to Men,” Lindstrom Lier deliver a plethora of commentary and useful insight into dating, relationships, sex, breakups, divorce, intimacy, marriage and other crucial topics singles and couples face while keeping an “ultra-modern perspective” on today’s relationships.
“Is cheating the new norm? Is it O.K. to ‘sext’ with a new boyfriend? What causes the “cougar” attraction? Is it O.K. to tell your husband you’re bored in the bedroom? Dan and Mike cover it all in this new book with a refreshing (and rare) honest male perspective.”
Lier and Lindstrom have a combined 30 years experience in relationships and have even been featured on Inside Edition, The Today Show , The Howard Stern Show, CNN, MSNBC and others.
- After interviewing thousands of couples across the country, the two have pinpointed the major issues men and women face, including:
- Three steps to creating an intimate and trusting relationship
- How to read a man’s intentions on social networking platforms
- What a man’s text messages really mean
- How to find common ground with conflicting sexual appetites
- How to bring out a men’s hidden desire within a respectful, intimate relationship
- What to do when you feel the urge to cheat…or think you’ve been cheated on
- And much more!
With Scottsdale’s seductive Jackrabbit Lounge setting the stage for an engaging evening for singles and couples to learn about love while they mingle, doors will open at 8pm for a relationship panel and book signing hosted by Lindstrom and Lier. The relationship panel is a workshop based on concepts from that book that delves deeper into a man’s psyche and gives female participants tools they can put to work immediately to improve their existing relationships and send more effective signals to find and keep a man. Male participants can gain insight into how females operate and have the opportunity to meet some of Scottsdale’s most eligible bachelorettes. Each participant will receive a signed copy of the book and participate in engaging discussions, ask questions and, interact with the authors and meet other Scottsdale singles. At 10pm, Lier and Lindstrom will hold court in one of Jackrabbit’s posh VIP areas where guests will be invited to mix and mingle with the authors with cocktails and dancing as they celebrate the launch of the book.
This event is free and open to the public with no cost to attend the relationship panel and book signing. Advanced copies of the book will be available for sale for $20 each. A signature cocktail called the Author’s Choice will be available for $5 during this event. Jackrabbit’s full bar will also be open throughout the panel/book signing. After 10pm, a club-mandated $10 cover applies for gentlemen.
The book will be available for sale to the public on September 1, 2010 on www.askdanandmike.com and www.amazon.com. SMS dating will see an explosion in the next few months. With almost everyone and their dog having access to a phone, it’s inevitable that people will look for ways of reaching out to the dating world through their devices. In fact, it’s already happening to a certain extent. People carry their blackberry almost anywhere they go. Making mobile dating so simple anyone can do it.
Hello this is kinda of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding experience so I wanted to get advice from someone with experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
