Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market is back for its 12th year. The semi-annual event will be held at WestWorld in Scottsdale from Friday, Sept. 15 to Sunday, Sept. 17. The market will have 120,000 feet of space full of over 150 small businesses selling hand-made and vintage goods.
The event will also have a food court with food trucks and live music. From clothes and decor to jewelry and furniture, Junk in the Trunk has something for everyone.
“You can get something for your house, your kids, your friends and family, yourself . . . there is so much shopping under one roof. It’s a really fun event—we have live music, food trucks, there really is something for everyone to come out and enjoy the weekend,” says Coley Arnold, co-founder of Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market.
Started in 2011 by Arnold and Lindsey Holt, Junk in the Trunk is meant to be a place for vintage lovers, junk collectors and treasure hunters. The market started as a small backyard event in 2011 and began hosting the event at WestWorld in 2015. Since 2011, the market has hosted over 250,000 shoppers and 3,000 small businesses throughout events in Arizona and California.
“We have local vendors and vendors coming from all over the country to set up,” says Holt. “Small business is so important—markets like ours is how these businesses make their living. So by coming, you’re not only shopping for one-of-kind items at the Market, you’re also supporting small businesses.”
The founders try to get new vendors every time so there’s always something new. To see a list of vendors, visit junkinthetrunkvintagemarket.com or follow the market on social media.
