Queen Creek Olive Mill, Arizona’s only family-owned and operated olive mill, has proudly earned multiple accolades at the 2025 New York International Olive Oil Competition (NYIOOC). The mill brought home Silver Awards for four of its Extra Virgin Olive Oils – its highest number of wins in a single year.
Competing on the world stage against top-tier producers, Queen Creek Olive Mill’s oils were celebrated for their exceptional quality, craftsmanship, and flavor. The awarded selections include the Delicate Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Arizona Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and Balanced Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
“We are thrilled to have won four silver awards for our exceptional extra virgin olive oils this year, a testament to the dedication and skill of our incredible team,” said Founder and President John Rea.
Widely regarded as the most prestigious competition in the industry, the NYIOOC attracts thousands of entries each year from olive oil producers around the globe. Among this year’s winners, the Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil earned its second consecutive Silver Award, having also received the honor in 2024. This oil is made from olives grown in the mill’s two medium-density groves, featuring Arbosana and Koroneiki varieties.
The Balanced Extra Virgin Olive Oil, praised for its versatility and harmonious blend of fruitiness and pungency, adds another accolade to its history of recognition, following a Gold Award in 2017 and a Silver in 2019. The Delicate Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Arizona Extra Virgin Olive Oil also garnered attention for their distinctive flavor profiles and commitment to showcasing the best of Arizona agriculture.
“I’m so proud of all of our hard work and passion, which have truly paid off in creating these outstanding products,” Rea added. Learn more or shop the award-winning collection at queencreekolivemill.com.
