Just as the temps cool and the highly anticipated fall fads hit the racks, the runway models will grace the catwalk wearing the latest and greatest couture at Scottsdale Fashion Week 2010! Fashion-lovers, mark your calendars for Nov. 4-6 because this year’s participating names in fashion are better than ever. Read on to find out more about the not-to-miss event taking place at Scottsdale Fashion Square!

Thursday, Nov. 4:
Know any aspiring fashionistas or hair stylists? The opening for Scottsdale Fashion Week is a community night, where local professionals and students will create a runway show featuring hair-styling, accessories and fashion.
Friday, Nov. 5:
Following the community event, fashion-forward gals can get pumped for the 10 different shows on two stages! Highlights include naming the Designer of the Year and fashion previews by Luca Luca and Kevan Hall.
Saturday, Nov. 6:
The big day is here! The main event, on Saturday, Nov. 6 starting at 6:30 p.m., will kick off with a bang as the latest designs from MaxMara, the Italian-based women’s apparel retailer, Tory Burch, the signature label for women’s apparel, and Ted Baker, the London-based men’s and women’s apparel retailer, will be fashioned in an exciting runway performance.
(Two more Scottsdale Fashion Square high-fashion retailers will round out the five-runway show event and will be announced in September. The Agency AZ, a local, well-known modeling agency and its director, Margaret Merritt will provide models as well as style and coordinate the fashion shows.)

Scottsdale Fashion Week is a place to be seen.”
Inside the Mall Happenings
Oh that’s not all ladies… Along with the Saturday night runway shows, shoppers can take advantage of the great events taking place inside Scottsdale Fashion Square. There will be smaller runway fashion shows featuring retailers on Friday and Saturday afternoons in the east wing near Barneys New York. Retailers and restaurants will also host a variety of fashion-oriented, in-store events to capture fashionistas’ attention during Scottsdale Fashion Week. Shoppers can also receive an exclusive Scottsdale Fashion Week tote bag when you spend $300 or more in one day October 18 through November 7.
