Let’s face it, us girls just can’t get enough “Sex & the City”! Well think of it as an early Christmas gift that the makers of the much-anticipated “Sex & the City 2” movie have released the trailer on the World Wide Web today!
The trailer opens with Alicia Keys’ very appropriate new song “Empire State of Mind” about glamorous New York, as the trailer delivers clips of the city. Then the very classy Carrie Bradshaw is unveiled through, what looks like an Upper East Side building.
She is dressed in her poster girl, white dress and gold aviators. Her voice-over then airs: “In two years, amazing things can happen,” as they show her famous walk-in closet.
As for the rest of the girls, Samantha (Kim Cattrall) seems to be pulling her same old tricks as she flirts with a sexy young man. Cold be a “cougar” scenario going on here…
Charlotte seems to be working hard as a mother. The clip showed her making cupcakes with baby in hand. And Miranda seems to still be with her loving husband.
The kick of the new movie? The girls head to the glamorous… desert? Yes, the trailer shows the four young New Yorkers riding camels, apparently somewhere in Morocco.
Don’t worry, Carrie kisses Mr. Big in the trailer, which shows that their rocky relationship might have lasted. There is also plenty of fashion for the SATC trend watchers, including Carrie in a head wrap.
Carrie then ends the trailer by saying: “Sometimes, you just have to get away with the girls.”
