Located in the heart of the Valley at the Loop 101 and 202 crossroads, Tempe Marketplace is the perfect place for an ultimate interactive shopping, dining and entertainment experience.
In the near future, the Marketplace will welcome four new tenants to the popular entertainment district, bringing the center to nearly 100 percent capacity. With a variety of seating options throughout, a splash pad, pop-up art installations, and more, shoppers can feel at home in the community hub.
The new round of tenants entering the space will occupy approximately 150,000 square feet throughout. Summer 2024 also welcomed an exciting lineup of new tenants, including J. Crew Factory, Pandora and Rowan, furthering Vestar’s mission to deliver high-quality, sophisticated clothing and accessories to shoppers seeking chic and stylish looks year-round. Below are the tenants coming soon:
- Sam’s Club: A wholesale warehouse store owned and operated by Walmart that sells products including groceries, home décor, furniture, electronics, health and wellness items, household items and more (set to open in summer 2025).
- Nothing Bundt Cakes: This is the largest specialty cake company in the nation, serving perfectly baked bundt cakes in a variety of sizes and flavors. It also offers a wide selection of décor, gifts, party supplies, and other items ideal for any occasion (set to open this fall).
- Happy Beauty Co.: This is a one-stop shop for quality beauty necessities, offering a variety of makeup, hair care, skincare, fragrance, bath and body products, and more (set to open at the end of 2025).
- Enclave Salon Suites: The perfect place for all beauty gurus to refresh and relax, offering beauty professionals a 10,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility with exceptional amenities and space for creativity, flexibility and freedom.
The marketplace’s new Pink Paradise art installation, featuring gradient pink waves floating above the splash pad and through District Street, will be on display through the end of August.
Families can look forward to several events this month including Homeschool Happy Hour, where homeschoolers can receive free art studio fees at As You Wish when painting on August 15 between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. As You Wish will also be holding a clay workshop to create the perfect-sized pasta dish on August 23. Participants will be led step-by-step through hand-building their pasta dish out of clay and then painting it as they’d like with special paints. To book a reservation visit their website.
Those looking for a fun night out can mark their calendars for Salsaholic Saturday at Dave and Buster’s rooftop lounge on August 31, from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. A 21+ event hosted by TEMPO Entertainment, salsa lovers will be able to dance the night away to mambo, guaguanco, timba, Son Cubano and Bachata music. Admission is $10 presale and $15 at the door, with complimentary lessons available from 9 to 10 p.m.
