Who Wins People’s Sexiest Man Alive 2010?

Move over Johnny Depp, Canadian heartthrob Ryan Reynolds has secured People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive 2010!

It’s getting a little chilly out and Starbucks has seasonal coffee a-brewing, which means it’s my favorite time of year…. People’s Sexiest Man Alive issue comes out!

And this year’s winner is hardly controversial… I think any girl can admit Reynolds is a head-turner. Even without his eight-pack abs, the 34-year-old actor is as adorable as ever. People appreciates his hot bod and stunning looks, but confesses that Reynolds made the cut because of his “self-deprecating humor.”

“You just have to go with the flow,” Reynolds says of his new “sexy” title. “This gives my family entrée into teasing me for the rest of my life.”

He’s made us laugh in my personal favorites The Propsal and Van Wilder with his own unique sense of humor…

“The most difficult part is going to be organically working this title into a conversation with random strangers,” Reynolds tells People.

Past gentlemen who have held the honorary title of Sexiest Man Alive include Sean Connery, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Hugh Jackman, Brad Pitt, George Clooney and last year’s hunk, Johnny Depp. Pitt, Clooney and Depp are the only male babes to receive the flattering award twice.

We’ve had the pleasure to gawk at Reynolds hot bod in Blade: Trinity and X-Men Origins, but now his figure will be center stage once again in the Green Lantern- his next action flick to debut next year.

“My body naturally wants to look like Dick Van Dyke,” Reynolds said. “When I stop training, I turn into a skin-colored whisper.” Ya right Ryan.

Reynolds’ lucky leading lady, Scarlett Johansson, has her own credibility in the “sexy” department as she was named GQ’s Babe of the Year.

“Now it’s going to be, ‘Sexiest man, take out the garbage,'” Reynolds jokes of his new home life according to omg!. “That does sound better.”
