If the thought of Black Friday shopping gives you the hives, we’ve got a chill alternative for you this year. Sleep in and ditch the mall madness while supporting local businesses when you shop at the Alternative Black Friday Vintage Market @ CityScape Phoenix on Friday, Nov. 24.
Locally owned boutique, Phoenix General, will be curating the experience with scenic photo backdrops, live music, festive sips like hot cocoa from Chico Malo, and a souvenir tote to use while shopping through this unique, relaxing desert market on an otherwise hectic shopping day.
Over 25 local makers, curators and businesses specializing in high-end vintage and handmade goodies will be set up from 10a – 4p in the heart of downtown Phoenix for this one-of-a-kind event. In addition to these vendors, CityScape tenants, including Urban Outfitters and Charming Charlie will also be offering Black Friday deals.
Performances by Tobie Milford, Bella Canzano and D’Averill & Derek will set the laid back vibe all day long…no cheesy, overdone holiday soundtracks here. Shoppers can take a break for a bite at one of CityScape’s yummy restaurants The Strand Urban Italian, Squid Ink, Copper Blues or even enjoy brunch and mimosas at Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktails or BC/ Breakfast Club.
