After exhibiting an eye-catching (pun intended) indigo eyeshadow on models at his fall 2013 collection, Jason Wu has finally released his much-anticipated makeup collaboration with Lancôme.
The limited edition 15-piece line marks Wu’s first foray into makeup and comes neatly packaged in compacts of Wu’s signature dove grey color and transparent lace bags.
The collection includes three eye shadow palettes that each include five shimmery colors equipped with helpful application guides ($49 each); three neutral pressed powder shadows ($24.50); three red-hued lipsticks ($26); matching nail polishes ($15); a navy mascara ($27); a black liquid eyeliner pen ($30); and a dual-ended shadow and liner brush ($32.50).
“I think it’s no secret that I love makeup, and I love a gorgeous beauty look,” Wu told Elle. “I’m not afraid to really use the full extent of a beauty arsenal to complement my clothes. So in my opinion, this is something that just felt natural to me. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, and I feel it’s extremely special.”
The makeup collection will launch during New York Fashion Week in September and be available for purchase at Nordstrom.
