I love the Village Roastery–one of my favorite spots in Scottsdale for coffee and a yummy sandwhich.
Such a smart thing for these indy shops to do. i cant stand that Starbucks charges. a coffee costsa billion bucks and now this. i think Postino and La Grande Orange alsop have free wifi.
san fran is one of my favorite cities b/c of this very reason – – coffee shops/cafes – endless wi-fi, ahhh…. here in the valley, coffee plantation is great!
Good to know! Starbucks makes me so mad. Even if you do think, ok I’m here, fine I’ll pay the $10 to get online. Well YOU CAN’T. You have to create an account online at TMobile first. So essentially you’d have to go back home, create the account with TMobile and then come back to use it. Stupid huh? So let’s all support these other coffee shops and their free wifi!
Didn’t know Olive n Ivy had WiFi. Sweet.
I used to go to CupZ back in my ASU heyday. But Starbucks charges by the hour?? Hmm, why go there when you can go elsewhere that doesn’t charge? I mean, there are tons of coffee places in general…
I believe Sonoma Coffee Cafe (the one that Melissa blogged about a little while back) has free Wi-Fi too…it’s a really cute and comfy spot (with tables that can actually fit a laptop, unlike Starbucks teeny ones).
This is great to know. I am all about Olive & Ivy, a quick e-mail check and a cup of joe and then off shopping. I think what does it for me is the ambiance and its location–in the heart of happening downtown Scottsdale.
Wow what a list! Thank you.
Great! I cannot believe that starbucks is charging! thats out of control! not only do they charge you an arm and a leg for coffee or a latte but internet too! Id much rather go to a better coffee spot!
If you want the free wifi of Cafe submit/review them at http://www.laptopfriendlycafes.com, We also list power
availability for laptops in the cafes.
