Scottsdale Adds Four New Sips to its Wine Trail

To help bolster the Arizona wine industry and support local wineries that don’t currently have tasting rooms in the greater Phoenix area, Zoya Vora-Shah, owner of The Wine Collective of Scottsdale, has invited four wineries to share her space – and those wineries are now available on the Scottsdale Wine Trail.

The Scottsdale Wine Trail is a collection of tasting rooms united to advance education and exposure for Arizona-produced wines and the growing wine industry. The additions include 1764 Vineyards, Omphalos Winery, Soaring Wines, and Vino Stache Winery.

“We opened our doors with a mission to support Arizona wine and are so proud to be partnering with four amazing local wineries,” Zoya said.

As part of the trail, the four offerings at the Wine Collective tasting room will count as one stop, but patrons will now get to try 10 Arizona-based wineries instead of six!

“Having the Wine Collective as a tasting room and now being a part of the Scottsdale Wine Trail is going to be a huge asset in not only helping boost in-person sales for our winery but also allowing us to educate so many more people on the amazing things the Arizona wine industry has to offer,” said winemaker Brooke Lowry Ide, owner of Vino Stache.

Whether guests want to walk the trail in a day, a weekend, or over a couple of weeks, the tasting rooms offer plenty of vinos to taste, try, and buy – and some offer monthly events to continue their education expansion.

Those embarking on the path can also purchase a Wine Trail Passport for $5. The booklet offers discounts at participating wineries, and passport holders will receive $2 off a wine tasting at each location. For those traveling in a group of six or more, it’s recommended that guests make a reservation ahead of time to guarantee their sip spot. Other stops on the trail include Aridus Wine Company, Carlson Creek Tasting Room, Los Milics Vineyards, Arizona Stronghold Vineyards, Salvatore Vineyards Tasting Room and LDV Winery.
