Spring awakening was the theme at the 2015 Chanel Couture show. Known for riding the creative length, Karl Lagerfeld completely transformed the Grand Palais in Paris into one very chic garden party.
Amid a setting of white origami tropical flowers, palm trees and banana leaves, Lagerfeld’s model-muse Baptiste Giabiconi started the show watering plants with a quilted Chanel watering can.
Lagerfeld made signature Chanel designs for the modern woman by cropping a jacket or playing with hem lengths on the classic Chanel tweed suit. Pastel hues, floral appliques, tulle and crystal flowers played to the light and airy vibe.
As each nature-inspired look went down the runway, male gardeners followed models with gorgeous bouquets.
