This weekend, treat yourself and your four-legged friend to beauty treatments at Mane Attraction Salon that will benefit Arizona animals in need.
The Phoenix Biltmore salon has teamed up with local nonprofit rescue animal organization RESCUE (Reducing Euthanasia at Shelters through Commitment and Underlying Education) for its 16th Annual Beauty to the RESCUE to help find loving homes for the more than 45,000 unwanted pets dropped off at shelters across Arizona.
Taking place Sunday, March 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., enjoy complimentary beverages and BBQ food from Bobby-Q to the tunes of DJ Black Ascension for a minimum donation of $30 for haircuts, $20 for Blow Dry Style and $10 for Deep Conditioning Masque. Pamper your pet with on-site mobile grooming before snapping a fun pic inside the animal photo booth.
Various vendor booths will also be set up, offering everything from artisan jewelry to yummy, fresh baked goods, soothing chair massages, healthful vitamin B-12 shots and professional psychic readings, for both you and your pet.
The Beauty to the RESCUE fundraiser has already helped raise over $250,000 for the Valley-based non-profit organization and its efforts to end pet euthanasia in Maricopa County through shelter rescue and adoption.
