Coach introduces “Pride Is Where You Find It,” a campaign spotlighting Pride as a state of mind, no matter how you may be celebrating this year, and the importance of finding community, no matter where you are.
Made to celebrate LGBTQIA+ communities everywhere, the campaign stars Bob the Drag Queen, Miles Heizer, Jack Mizrahi, Stasha Sanchez and Rina Sawayama and features interviews with the cast about where they find their Pride—whether on stage, in the recording studio, or among their chosen families.
To create the campaign, Coach collaborated with emerging young photographers and directors from the agency Thursday’s Child, including Heather Glazzard and Nora Nord, Clifford Prince King, Jheyda McGarrell and Elizabeth Wirija, as well as three young people from Coach’s nonprofit partner the Hetrick-Martin Institute—who share their stories along with the Coach Family.
To support the LGBTQIA+ community and celebrate Pride, the Coach Foundation made donations to the Hetrick-Martin Institute, its partner of eight years, as well as the Albert Kennedy Trust, Point Foundation and CenterLink Community of LGBTQ Centers as part of its Dream It Real initiative to support their work connecting young people with supportive communities.
“We are proud to support the LGBTQIA+ community with Pride is Where You Find It, a campaign inspired by our belief that we are better when we can be ourselves, together,” said CEO and Brand President of Coach Todd Kahn. “Created with our Coach Family, it underscores the importance of community, now more than ever.”
“Pride is Where You Find It” also introduces the house’s Coach Pride collection of bags, t-shirts and footwear featuring a rainbow treatment of its iconic Signature pattern.
Coach will celebrate Pride this month with the release of a new episode of Coach Conversations, its monthly YouTube series about culture and community, featuring Bob the Drag Queen, Jack Mizrahi and TS Madison.
