Jumping on the heels of fashion’s fitness craze, Net-a-Porter is slated to launch a new sportswear-dedicated site.
Aptly called Net-a-Sporter, the site will fulfill the sartorial needs for most fitness activities, like tennis, running, dance and yoga.
Shoppers can look forward to mainstay fashion-fitness brands like Adidas by Stella McCartney and NIKE, in addition to new up-and-coming labels like Monreal London, Weargrace and Ballet Beautiful.
Net-a-Porter president Alison Loehnis told The Telegraph:
“A mixture of accessible and luxury sports brands. It was important to us from the beginning that the pieces themselves were not only performance-based but that they could also be incorporated into our customers’ personal style. We know that a lot of women are exercising and heading straight from their yoga or ballet class to breakfast with friends without changing. With this in mind, we have developed a category called ‘après sport’ designed for those who want to look incredibly stylish after their workout.”
Stay tuned for Net-a-Sporter’s official launch on July 9!
