We have said it time and time again; we are huge reality TV fans here at Style Files. Even more, we love fashion based reality TV shows (no matter how bad they are): Project Runway, Fashion Star, America’s Next Top Model, It’s a Brad Brad World, and the list goes on.
So, we were extremely sad (like grab a carton of Chunky Monkey sad) when we heard that we would no longer be able to follow our favorite stylist around on her maj styling appointments. That’s right, after five seasons The Rachel Zoe Project has been cancelled.
‘The Rachel Zoe Project was meant to be a show solely based on fashion and designers and all of that, and clearly it wasn’t. I was like, “Oh, I don’t want my personal life on television, “ Zoe told Capitol File Magazine.
We totally understand Rach, but we will miss you, and of course we can’t forget to bid little Sky Sky and Rodge adieu as well.
Though nothing can replace Zoe in our life, a new fashion reality TV show might help us heal a little faster. The newest rumor on the block is that there is a show based on street style photography in the works. According to fashionista.com, “There’s currently an open casting call seeking out street style photogs to be followed around with cameras ‘documenting the highs and lows of the profession as [photographers] pursue the next big find.’”
So, cameras will be following cameras? We’ll see if the show will be as popular as the phenomenon that is street style.
Yesterday, popular street style photographer Mr. Newton seemed to confirm the rumor a la his Twitter account @misternewton:
Sorry Mr. Newton, you would have been our first choice!!!
