If you haven’t already heard Fashions Night Out is soon approaching and I am very excited for this year’s festivities. If you are not familiar with this event, “Fashion’s Night Out is an unprecedented global initiative created in 2009 in a partnership between American Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company, and the City of New York to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, boost the industry’s economy, and put the fun back in shopping.”
Several cities throughout the U.S. and abroad will be participating in FNO this year—and the Valley is one of them!
Scottsdale will be the place to be on September 8th starting at 6 p.m. Here is a list of can’t-miss FNO events…start planning now so you don’t miss a thing.
Scottsdale Fashion Square has over 60 stores participating this year. Here are some special highlights:
Bare Escentuals will be giving Free make-unders (by reservation), giving away free limited-edition totes bags with any $50 purchases, and you can even be the first to score Drop Red Gorgeous before it’s official launch in October.
Betsey Johnson invites you to party with the Betsey girls. Enjoy music by Nate Thomas, a mini fashion show, yummy treats, and refreshments. Plus you can even enter to win a fabulous Betsey Johnson tote.
Ted Baker London, one stop I will not be missing, will be serving complimentary champagne, giving away free limited edition tote with any purchase, all to the sounds of Brit DJ…and you get a special treat just for stopping by.
Don’t forget to stop by Neiman Marcus Court and Barneys New York Wing to strike your best pose and have a Facebook picture taken. After you strut your stuff in front of the camera you will receive an insider listing of all the evening’s events.
Want to enjoy the evening’s festivities under the beautiful summer sky, head on over to Kierland Commons. The 40 plus stores participating will literally be rolling out the red carpet for this special evening.

Lather will be partnering with National Laser Institute to offer free mini-facials. You can make a reservation to secure a spot, but walk-ins are welcome on a first come, first serve basis. Doesn’t really get much better than food, shopping, music, and a facial.
