Sarah Jessica Parker Will Have her Own Store

To the delight of Sex and the City fans, Sarah Jessica Parker is opening her very own store stocked with everything Carrie herself might’ve had in her NYC closet.

Perhaps our most majestic partnership yet. #SJPCollection is coming to @netaporter!!! Yes, you heard that right.  I secretly call it the Crown collection and not so secretly share my total elation about this collaboration. Launching this Thursday with a 16 piece capsule collection, we’ve curated exclusive shoes for #netaporter using jewel tones, metallic colorways and glitter. Are you surprised? The actress and fashion enthusiast announced her plans on Instagram to open a brick-and-mortar shop for her SJP Collection within Washington D.C.’s MGM National Harbor.

Today I reveal every detail of our long held secret! After many trips on @amtrak to DC, on-site construction visits, meetings on design and curating a very special collection we are opening our first standalone @sjpcollection store inside the brand new @mgmnationalharbor. The big launch is on December 8th and I’m counting down the hours, minutes and seconds until we officially open the doors. Because perhaps then I will actually believe it’s real. “Opening a standalone store has long been a dream we have been working towards and we feel truly privileged to be doing so with the expertise, guidance and support of our brilliant partners at MGM Resorts,” said Parker in a release. “It’s been very exciting to have been involved in all steps of the process, from on-site construction visits to the actual layout and design of our boutique. I’m honored to be included in this massive undertaking and I’m very much looking forward to celebrating in December. Because perhaps then I will believe it’s real.”

Parker’s full line of shoes, handbags and accessories will be available when SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker opens on Friday, Dec. 9.
