I was going to wait until Friday to give some St. Patty’s Day fashion advice, but I figured that a) you probably forgot that it was this Saturday and b) now that you have been reminded you only have one day left to get your outfit ready. I will admit that St. Patrick’s Day is not a holiday that I have ever actually celebrated (what exactly that means I’m not sure), but this year I was invited to a party and so I must get together my most stylish green outfit…or something like that.
Yesterday I introduced a new fab nail color—pistachio, but unfortunately I don’t think this pail, barely-there green will allow you to go through the day un-pinched (just made up a word for St. Patty’s). Instead try Essie’s ‘Pretty Edgy’ green, with a pop of color like this you’ll surely be celebrating.
Another way that your green will get you noticed is by wearing these Ahhh-mazing! Jeffrey Campbell ‘Kylie’ heels. These green suede pumps are adorned with edgy geometric studs… and if anyone does try to pinch you they are the perfect defense (just kidding we do not condone fashion violence)! At Nordstrom, $249.95
I’ve wanted a green handbag for a few months now and I’m thinking that St. Patrick’s Day is the perfect excuse (doubt if the hubby feels the same way). There are so many fabulous choices to pick from right now… get a chic clutch or big carry all. There is no doubt that a green purse will brighten up your day—St. Patty’s or otherwise. At Nordstrom
The one great thing about living in the desert is that is that we can already wear spring little numbers like this Scattered Limlight dress at Anthropologie. The asymmetrical top and airy fabric are great for a warm St. Patty’s evening out. At Anthropologie, $148
For a more casual look try on green denim for size. The bold colored pant has been a trend for a few season’s now and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere this spring and summer so you might as well indulge while you can. At Bloomingdales, $168
As we’ve pointed out, your St. Patrick’s Day fashion can totally be on trend… especially with this cute floral button up. You can wear it with your favorite skinnies or a great pair of shorts. At Piperlime
One last note: Remember not to wear all of this at once… pretty please!
