Luxury women’s retailer Zimmermann is set to open its first Arizona store this Saturday, Oct. 14, at Scottsdale Fashion Square. The brand will debut its Fall 2023 collection that was presented at Paris Fashion Week and the Summer Swim ’23 collection within its new custom-designed 1,800-square-foot store space created in collaboration with Studio McQualter.
The boutique is split into three sections for runway, ready-to-wear and accessories, plus fitting rooms and a lounge. The circular store layout separates these areas and makes the shopping experience seamless. Midcentury furniture, mosaic floors, bespoke rugs and Italian terrazzo make this eclectic space warm and inviting to guests. Curved ceilings open up the space that’s decorated with art, vases, custom mirrors, antique sconces and ceramic sculptures. This variety of cultures and design motifs combine to create a refined shopping experience.
“We have a wonderful following from local clients, so it’s great to officially be a part of the Scottsdale community and invite clients to experience Zimmermann in a more immersive way,” says Zimmermann Creative Director and Co-Founder Nicky Zimmermann. While designing the store, we were influenced by the greater context and personality of the area, whilst looking to bring a little something from Australia. I love the mixture of vintage furniture and touches from home through our selection of art.”
Australian retailer Zimmermann was started in 1991 by sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann. The brand has a variety of on-trend and classic apparel, swimwear and accessories. Its beachy and laid-back summer vibes are the perfect match for sunny Scottsdale. It now boasts over 50 store locations across Europe, Australia, the U.S. and China.
