Karl Lagerfeld has been given the Barbie treatment.
Lagerfeld and Mattel have collaborated on a special Barbie doll that will be created in the designer’s likeness. Called Barbie Lagerfeld, it will join the toy brand’s Barbie Collector Series.
Barbie Lagerfeld will be outfitted in the designer’s classic uniform of a white collared shirt, a fitted black blazer, skinny pants and unforgettable black sunglasses. Little details like Chanel-like chain necklaces and fingerless driving gloves complete the look.
Mattel and Lagerfeld plant to release the limited-edition doll at a yet-to-be-determined date this fall. Barbie also happens to be celebrating her 55th birthday this year.
